Because of our location in a nature reserve, you will probably have little to no range with your own mobile phone. You are able to make phone calls via, for example, WhatsApp and you can use the landline in the Bakhuis during opening hours.
There is a restaurant located 200 metres from the hotel: Restaurant WOODZ is located on the grounds of our adventurous sister Buitenplaats Beekhuizen. Please note that the restaurant opening days/hours depend on the season.
All rooms are equipped with coffee/tea facilities and a fridge. The suites are in addition equipped with a microwave and the Lodges are in addition equipped with a ceramic cooker.
Free WIFI is available in the entire hotel.
There is a covered, lockable bicycle shed present on-site. The shed is equipped with charging points for e-bikes. It is not allowed to charge batteries in the rooms or to store (racing) bicycles in the room.
There is camera surveillance on-site and, in the facilities, both for your and our safety. The parking lot is not secluded.
Yes, we rent bikes on-site of our partner VeluweActief with gears (€10,00 per day per bike) and e-bikes (€25,00 per day per bike). The bikes are only rentable for a day.
You are welcome to store your luggage at the reception. This is free of charge, on early arrival or late departure.
We are a small-scaled hotel and we try to avoid no-shows, therefore, we request that you fulfil the payment directly with your reservation.
Breakfast is available to reserve upon arrival. For the bicycle rental we recommend to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to one week before arrival, unless otherwise agreed. We would like to receive your cancellation by e-mail. Please note: because of COVID-19 (corona) there is a temporarily different cancellation policy. See the frequently asked questions about COVID-19.
The accessibility by public transport is not very convenient. We recommend that you take a taxi from the station of Velp or the station of Arnhem to the hotel or use services such as public transport bicycles or Greenwheels.
It is not allowed to barbeque or make an open fire on our property.
Our hotel is exclusively for guests that are staying in the hotel. Any permission to receive visitors is on request and must be requested by e-mail. Parking options at the hotel are limited to one parking space per accommodation. Visitors must always park at the public car park P Beekhuizen (2 minutes walking distance).
On certain days there are no arrivals or departures possible to ensure tranquillity in the hotel; this creates a minimum length of stay.
We are happy to take your dietary wishes into account, we do request that you inform us in advance.
There is a 50% discount for children aged between 3 and 12 years old, and breakfast is free of charge for babies aged between 0-2 years old.
A baby cot is allowed in each accommodation. You could bring your own, or you could reserve one (including bed linen/blanket) for € 17.50 per stay. This is possible based on availability and please request prior to your stay.

No, we are a non-smoking hotel.
Check-in after 6PM is possible on request. Please request this in advance, we will agree with you what the latest arrival time is.
Dogs are allowed in the hotel on request, we have one of our junior suites with terrace or one of our 2-storey lodges available for this. The surcharge is € 25.00 per stay. When you have the opportunity to add a pet fee when booking these rooms, you are assured of your stay. Otherwise, please contact us for availability. Dogs are not allowed in the Bakhuis (because of the breakfast and the bar), but they are allowed on the terrace and lawn if kept on a leash. Dogs are welcome at restaurant WOODZ.
You can cancel free of charge up to one week before arrival. Please note: in case of cancellation, the amount that is paid is currently paid out in the form of a voucher. The risk is for the guest in the unlikely event that cancellation is made within one week before arrival. You are able to give the room away to someone else, or we will do our best to re-sell the room for you. In case we can re-sell the room, we will be able to provide you with a voucher. In case the hotel must close because of government regulations, we will refund in the form of a voucher (even if this is within one week before your stay). Different conditions may apply for groups.
The Bakhuis is currently daily open until 10PM to enjoy coffee, drinks, or snacks from the honesty bar, or for take-away to the room. In the bar you will find a selection of local beers, excellent wines, and delicious snacks.
It is possible to enjoy breakfast in the room. The breakfast basket can be delivered to your room at a sub charge at the time that you wish.
The breakfast buffet will continue to take place in the Bakhuis in several shifts to create sufficient space. Disinfectants for your hands can be found at various spots in the hotel.
The breakfast buffet takes place in the Bakhuis in several shifts between 8:15AM and 11AM. Breakfast in the room is also available at an additional cost. When you check in, we discuss the time of the breakfast and any other wishes you may have.
A twin bed configuration of two single beds is possible in some of our junior suites (with a French balcony or terrace). Please request this in advance.
All our lodges have two separate bedrooms.
